Mainstay Construction Services LLC. was founded by Mike McCandless and Eric Meister in 2013. Mainstay is a customer based organization specializing in a wide range of Commercial construction projects and delivery methods. Collectively, Mike and Eric bring 40+ years of expertise in building premier projects in and around the Tampa Bay area.

Eric Meister

Owner/Principal

Eric was born and raised in Tampa. After attending Jesuit High School he went on to earn his BA in Business Administration and his MS in Building Construction from the University of Florida. His expertise includes Multi-family/Condo, Data Center, Medical Office, Heavy Civil, Pre-cast Parking & Municipal projects.

Michael McCandless

Owner/Principal

Mike was raised Tampa Bay and in the construction industry. Mike went on to earn his BS in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Mike has spent almost 30 years building successful projects all over the southeast. His expertise includes Stadium, Courthouse, Detention, Hospitality, Medical Office, Pre-Cast Parking, Retail, Multi-Family/Condo & Warehouse.
