Mainstay Construction Services, LLC is a fresh face to the Construction Industry in the Tampa Bay Area. Founded by Mike McCandless and Eric Meister in 2013, Mainstay is a customer based organization specializing in a wide range of Commercial construction projects and delivery methods. Collectively, Eric and Mike bring 30 years of expertise in building premier projects in and around the Tampa Bay area.

Owner/Principal

Mike was raised Tampa Bay and in the construction industry.  Mike went on to earn his BS in Building Construction from the University of Florida.  Mike has spent almost 20 years building successful projects all over the southeast and 12 of the last 15 years in Tampa.  His expertise includes Stadium, Courthouse, Detention, Hospitality, Medical Office, Pre-Cast Parking, Retail, Multi-Family/Condo & Warehouse.  

eric Meister

Owner/Principal

Eric was born and raised in Tampa.  After attending Jesuit High School he went on to earn his BA in Business Administration and his MS in Building Construction from the University of Florida.  Eric has spent the last 10 years producing projects for a large regional General Contractor.  His expertise includes Multi-family/Condo, Data Center, Medical Office, Heavy Civil, Pre-cast Parking & Municipal projects.
